I remember the stories my mom told of how people improvised during the depression era and then again during WWII. During the war when she was a young woman, they would draw lines down the back of their legs to simulate the seams of hosiery when nylons were not available. Now, self-isolation as well as increasing governmental mandates regulating the closure of hair salons in some counties present a problem of what we can do about our hair.
The fearless among us could go on line, view hair cutting or dyeing videos, take scissors in hand, and give it a try. However, a wig gives a safe and convenient option that provides a great hair day every day. You can call us to set up a time for a one-on-one free wig consultation by phone or if you have an iPhone, by FaceTime. You can see various wig styles and colors, discuss whether a petite, petite/average, average, or large wig is best for you, and have your questions answered. If you purchase a wig you will receive a 20% discount on your wig. You may call us at (979) 268-0608 to order your wigs and we’ll mail it to you. However, for your safety, no wigs may be tried on during this health situation. Our wig no return policy still applies.
Since human hair wigs require cutting and styling to customize to the person purchasing, given the current health situation, I would suggest synthetic wigs that are pre-styled. They return to their original style even after washing. They are also considerably less expensive. Avoid exposing them to heat or recurrent abrasion.
